Christopher Spring — Senior Communications & PR Consultant
I’m Chris a senior communications strategist, publicist and producer working across theatre, live performance, music, arts and culture.
My experience spans senior communications roles, agency PR, producing, journalism and broadcast, giving me an unusually broad understanding of how to take a project from its initial positioning through to press, audience development, partnerships and public-facing delivery.
I have led communications and campaigns for organisations and artists including With Spice/OommoO, LULA.XYZ, Hackney Showroom, Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival, Renu Arora, Sutara Gayle, Anoushka Lucas and Jamie Cullum, alongside international theatre and live performance projects.
My work combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery: developing the story around a project, identifying its audiences, building relationships with journalists and partners and creating campaigns that can work across editorial, broadcast, digital and live environments.
With a background spanning journalism, television production, artist management, accessibility, programming and producing, I’m particularly interested in projects where communications needs to sit at the heart of the wider creative and organisational strategy.
